2024 Residency Fellows and Quarter 1 Activations

February 2024

AIRIE.Foundation proudly partners with the Everglades National Park (ENP) to offer a month-long residency that empowers artists to explore the environment and participate in excursions, activations, and community connections while living in the park. The immersive residency experience inspires the development of new artistic works focused on reflection and creative expression for each fellow within the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. The 2024 AIRIE.Foundation Fellows include Morel Doucet, Lauren Shapiro, Charles Humes Jr., Venus Jasper, Gentry George, Chris Friday, Laurena Finéus, David Rahahę•tih Webb, The Honourable Elizabeth A. Baker, and Germane Barnes. This year's fellows have been invited to define innovative storytelling and how this innovation leads to the preservation, celebration, and education of the national environment.
