"Land + Memory: Miami’s Creative Future" conversation with artist Sterling Rook and Catherine Camargo

In collaboration with Tunnel and QUEUE, AIRIE.Foundation presents Sterling Rook, 2025 AIRIE.Foundation Fellow, in conversation with Catherine Camargo, curator, writer, and founder of QUEUE.

As part of this program, Rook will share insights into "Shupingagua", his exhibition currently on view at Tunnel Projects, offering a closer look at the materials, research, and cultural memory that shape his practice.

Working across sculpture and fiber, his work engages the ecological and cultural landscape of South Florida. In dialogue with Camargo, whose curatorial practice explores migration, vulnerability, and systems of power, this evening brings together artists and curators shaping Miami's contemporary cultural landscape.
